BME EXPANDS IBEX 35® INDEX FAMILY
BME has expanded the IBEX 35® index family by
establishing three new tradable indices, all based on
the IBEX 35®. The new indices, IBEX 35® TRIPLE LE-
VERAGE NET, IBEX 35® X5 LEVERAGE NET and IBEX
35® INVERSE X5, will begin calculations and real-time
dissemination on November 22.
The IBEX 35® TRIPLE LEVERAGE NET
offers triple
exposure to the daily movement of the IBEX 35® WITH
DIVIDENDS NET, through the investment of initial ca-
pital plus an equivalent capital loan. A daily positive
return on the IBEX 35® WITH DIVIDENDS NET yields
a positive return for triple the amount for the IBEX 35®
TRIPLE LEVERAGE NET and vice versa.
The IBEX 35® X5 LEVERAGE NET
offers quintuple
exposure to the daily movement of the IBEX 35® WITH
DIVIDENDS NET, through the investment of initial ca-
pital plus an equivalent capital loan. A daily positive
return on the IBEX 35® WITH DIVIDENDS NET yields
a positive return for five times the amount for the IBEX
35® X5 LEVERAGE NET and vice versa.
The IBEX 35® INVERSE X5
offers quintuple exposu-
re to the daily movement of the IBEX 35® WITH DI-
VIDENDS (GROSS) but in the opposite direction; i.e.

the amount for the IBEX 35® INVERSE X5..
These new indices were set up to provide un-
derlying for financial instruments such as warrants,
certificates or ETFs. These instruments provide inves-
